Federation of Anarchists in Bulgaria (FAB) for the year held its May Day protest march. This year we celebrate 120 years since the events in Chicago, where after a demonstration for the 8-hour day were arrested and killed eight anarchists. Federation of Anarchists in Bulgaria condemns all parties and organizations that use the 1 May holiday and propaganda, thus spitting on the human struggle for freedom and a better life.
In our May Day procession continued social protest against price genocide carried out by the government, whose representatives held a senior kebab-party in Central Park. So our main slogans, banners were two "May 1 - 120 years resistance" and seen in the previous three protest "Prices go up, to rise and we."
Before the parade a small group of pseudo-patriots honored by our presence, as they were joined by dozens of geeks, who spent mostly in stadiums. 150-something supporters of AFB, with few exceptions, not paying attention and focused on the smooth conduct of the parade, distributing leaflets and talking with random people passing.
Their support and met some of them participated in short sections of the procession, as at times it reached 200 people. To the familiar slogan "Solidarity between people is our weapon against the government", "Stanishev bandit long genocide," "price lies about everything you'll pay", "Anarchy, anarchy - class war" was added and pure May Day "Peace between people , war against the government, today is a holiday, a day of struggle ". They all echoed in the central streets of Sofia in less sunny, this time during May Day.
The procession ended in front of National Theatre, where we were greeted with "hospitality" of the Director Vasil Stefanov, who was given command of the police do not allow us even to the stairs. This, of course, was not part of our supporters sat quietly there. Rostrum was given, as always, to everyone. They were absolutely spoiled all leaflets and newspapers, which were prepared as part of anarchist literature in our makeshift booth.
