2010 - high prices and unemployment

What will be the luck of the Bulgarians this year - high prices, unemployment, or both?
Government to Boyko Borisov prepare a double blow to the pocket of the Bulgarians. On the one hand it is constantly rising unemployment, which is expected to reach 11.4% according to economic experts of the cabinet, while others argue that independent experts can hit and 14-15% at the end of 2010 All of that loss jobs, however, is accompanied by rising prices of basic goods and services. Principles of economics seems that when there is inflation, rising unemployment and falling prices do not apply to the GERB government and Finance Minister Djankov. This is not because economic formulas are wrong, but was due simply to state intervention, ie, its policies - to deliberately raise the prices of resources and services. To answer why, it is right to see exactly which prices go up.
Inflating gas
The price of natural gas rose by 10.45%. From the State Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (SEWRC) even argued that people should be grateful to this modest rise because of Bulgargaz been requested increase of 17.02%. It would not be surprising that price be increased once more in the second quarter - the Russian-Ukrainian gas pipes sometimes abated, but the reasons for appreciation - always.
Rising gas leads to increased heating and hot water with an average of 5% depending on region. "Bonus" to this appreciation for Sofia citizens will be more expensive with 8% water - although 60% of it is lost before it reached the sink faucet. Alone can guess who pays those losses on the route - if you order in his shop a kilo of apples, shopkeepers brings you 400 g and tells you that others dropped them until they wore from the warehouse, then you want more money to write a course on skill.
Transport is expensive for the most vulnerable
It is not overlooked and urban transport. Students' Day on the eve of Sofia Municipal Council decided to increase prices for students. Wonderful gift for all of them - except higher semester fees, and now will pay more for transportation, while their parents remain unemployed. Obviously rulers principle of access to education means that as yet has not become completely inaccessible, it's affordable. But that's not all. From the first day of New Year cards for expensive Public Transport in Sofia not only students but also for pensioners and disabled people. Rising transport in cities such as Plovdiv, Asenovgrad. There are private interests in public transportation. More shuttle lines are given to private carriers and large price increases objectives namely to increase their profits - except ticket sales, they receive a direct subsidy from the municipalities.
Smoking is good for your publican
For the year, and expensive cigarettes as from 1 January again increased excise duty.
Appreciating all things directly affect the pockets of the general public. For many families it would be only one blade of scissors - the other will be decreasing revenue due to rising unemployment.
The time of "honest private owners'
There is also a hidden trend hinted several months ago when Djankov and Borisov discussed public option whether to allow the storage budget in private banks. This trend is further privatization in favor of private companies. Not now that rulers can not drain people's money through a well-known scheme "loops of companies", but avoids this additional sluggish privatization process of infusing cash into private accounts and now in times of crisis is quite advantageous, because the process accelerates and serve as a catalyst for enriching the already full oligarchic portfolios.
Raising prices rising unemployment will logically lead to a sharp contraction of consumption, reduced revenues for the treasury and arguments of the government to privatize all without exception - of course the "fire" prices because state and municipal enterprises will be saddled with losses, and other state property will also be cheaper because "the crisis" will have many myushterii until it appears the man for whom it was originally called. This is what happens, as with some other public DHC and with Bulgartabac, which has always been a chunk of private corporate interests.
With these actions the Government of GERD, actively supported by Ataka, Blue Coalition, and recently by CSV directly implies that even as the previous governments policy will lead to the detriment of the ordinary citizen and "pizza" Budget 2010 is expected to remain for the people only to smell and roast.
At me, pizza, and the knife
The question is not how much pizza, but in who the cut and gives. While people still just a cook, waiter and dishwasher, it will do little concerned that the top has less sausage and more greasy. In this respect there is no difference between today and yesterday's government. Four years of peace the coalition proved that even with record low ratings and widespread public revulsion of kleptocracy, the resistance of our society are so dead that power easily earns its mandate, the only penalty for "failed" politicians remains the replacement of the Ministerial parliamentary salary, but nevlezlite in parliament - back in the private sector with significant too full-bodied of the years in power "portfolio" and "business contacts".
For many of us it seems degrading condition more bearable by radicalized and organized resistance. Clearly, the various trade unions and political organizations with "radical" profile is totally compromised, but they were not originally created by us and for us. There is no logic to create their own and not to capitulate.
